Tribes: Families of 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We were commissioned by Suffolk Libraries<\/a> to deliver a series of workshops for families both at Latitude Festival and at libraries accross Suffolk. These sessions are designed to enable families to spend time together in a relaxed environment, to explore their identity through fun, creative activities and to make their mark on our communal family furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ipswich 100: Fast Forward Creative Workshop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In May 2024 we were commissioned by Suffolk Libraries<\/a> to celebrate the centenary of Ipswich County Library! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our drop in workshop enabled participants to ponder on what life will be like 100 years from now and to fast forward the timeline of wonderful Ipswich! Thinking of the Ipswich we dream of, and by reflecting on various provocations , responses were recorded through voice, video, words and pictures. Our cardboard bricks encouraged creative play and building of the future through unique design and ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sian was proud to work with Manningtree Arts<\/a> to create a community flag for Manningtree’s first Pride event. Using provocations to enable a range of responses, we welcomed people of all ages along to contribute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Questions got participants thinking about their character, identity, hopes and dreams. We asked:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your greatest strength or super power?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you dream of?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who or what is your greatest love? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What excites you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you want for the future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who or what are you celebrating today for pride?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does freedom feel like to you? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
